A tour is a brilliant way to experience the Korcula island region. Whether you are new to Lumbarda and the destination or are already familiar with many of the Island’s places and Korcula Old Town landmarks, a guided tour is an ideal way to discover more about Korcula’s and Lumbarda’s unique culture, nature, and heritage. Korcula has an excellent network of qualified tour guides, the official tour guides who offer a wide range of services from individual walking tours to large boat and bus tours. There is a selection of special interest tours on offer too such as cycling, kayaking, and of course, wine tours.
Korcula Walking Tours
To wander the old streets of historic Korcula town is a very visual experience. And yet there is so much more to tell. More than can be gleaned by just admiring the buildings. Our guided tour will make Korcula Old Town come alive. You will hear about the many famous people who have lived or worked in Korcula, such as world explorer Marco Polo who was born in the town. Our tours are packed with the stories behind the buildings, historical facts, and the occasional anecdote.
We offer one hour and two hours walking tours, it’s up to you which one you choose. The tours can include visits to local museums, shops, or galleries.
If you are staying in Lumbarda, we will be happy to send you a taxi driver to pick you up at your hotel and take you to the main entrance of the historic old town from where our walking tours start (see below map). If you wish, we can also arrange for a driver to take you back to your accommodation in Lumbarda.
